Job opportunity at Care About Angus

Care About Angus is looking to recruit a Home Support Worker in the Montrose Area.

Initially the contract will be for 16 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Main Duties

  • Provide a person centred service at all times

  • Support and maintain independent living

  • Complete core daily tasks, such as intercom calls and well-being visits

  • Assistance with housework

  • Laundry

  • Shopping

  • Organise/support social activities

  • Ensure service users are aware of other local services in particular volunteer befriending.

  • Monitor service user’s well-being and record in the service users file, any issues should be reported to your line Manager or other appropriate service.

You must hold a clean driving licence and have access to a car.
